My Favorite Hair Products

What's up babes! Happy hump day! It is Wednesday right? #mombrain. Anyways, I had a few requests to show what are my favorite hair products and then when I showed I bought this waver in my Amazon haul last week you all wanted to see how it works! If you want more details on that, go check out my stories! My instagram is linked HERE. But if you want to know what I use let me tell ya! These are also in order the way I use them!
Shampoo & Conditioner // I am currently using Raw Sugar Living Moisture Smoothie. They are paraben and sulfate free and safe for colored hair. Plus the coconut smell is super yummy. I wash my hair every 2-4 days depending on how oily it looks. Extensions have helped my hair a ton (I used to have to wash it every day!)
Miracle Leave In // So I have been using this for YEARS. I am obsessed with It's a 10 and I think their products are great. After I get out of the shower I rub about a dime, sometimes quarter size through my hair. It eliminates tangles, adds shines, controls frizz, literally everything. This is a MUST HAVE.
Hair Brush // I have also been using this for years. The wet brush is freaking amazing. I use it on my wet and dry hair!
Hair Dryer // I use the T3 hair dryer. I know it's pricey but it seems to dry my hair faster and obviously I love that it's white and chic looking! I have seen these at Costco for A LOT cheaper than online btw.
Dry Shampoo // Love this one. I like that they have different hair colors (blonde, brunette, red, etc.). I get the divine dark! I actually spray it in my CLEAN hair for volume. They obviously use it when it's dirty too, lol.
Heat Protectants // I used this one in my hair tutorial today. It works great and I love the smell. But I also wanted to share this one that I use! It's important to use a heat protectant to prevent damage when using hot tools on your hair.
Hair Waver // With over 990 reviews, this waver is amazing. Such a fun cute way to switch up your normal hairstyle! Loveeee it.

5 Hairstyles to do when you're in between washes

I have teamed up with one of my favorite haircare brands Hair La Vie to show you guys 5 super easy hairstyles you can do when you're in between washes! I love that since I've been using Hair La Vie products I don't have to wash my hair everyday. They not only smell good but they use all natural ingredients to help cleanse your scalp which lets you not have to wash it everyday! They all took me under 2 minutes so I promise anyone can do them!
Let me show you :)
1. LOW PONY - I achieved this look by first putting a dime size amount of the Hair La Vie serum on my ends to create a more polished, detailed look. It goes on light, you don't need a bunch and it helps tame frizz! I always tease the top a little and once I have my hair wrapped in the pony and pull it to make it look bigger.

2. HALF UP HALF DOWN- I created this look by teasing the top and pulling my desired amount I wanted to put half of my hair up. I pulled it again to create a messy, bigger look!
3. HALF UP HALF DOWN BUN- This is so easy! Once you have your hair half up half down, I teased my hair and grabbed a couple bobby pins. I made a small bun and secured the hair with a few bobby pins. This is a cute fun look!
4. High Pony- Throwing it back to my cheerleader days. To achieve this look I just flip my head over and grab all my hair, put it on top of my head and secure it with a black ponytail. I get a teasing comb and tease away to make it look bigger!
5. Top Knot- otherwise known as the Bun! I wear my hair like this at least 3 days out of the week. Once I have my hair in a ponytail I grab all of it, make a circle with my hair and pull it out to give it the loose look! After I shampoo my hair I love using the Hair La Vie Leave-in Conditioner Spray and after a couple days the top knot is the perfect hairstyle!
I love Hair La Vie products because they make my hair smell good, look good and they are healthy. I actually keep the serum in my purse to help any frizz I have during the day. I hope this post was helpful, make sure to tag me if you do any of these hairstyles!

Wait you get botox?......Ok good so do I! That's what so many girls have said to me after they found out I started getting botox. It's crazy to me that botox is still such a secret to everyone because it has so many benefits I don't know why you wouldn't do it. Now I'll admit, some people do go overboard but so far all of my experiences have been awesome. Let's get into it.
First of all, what is botox? Botox is a drug used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles.
I recently went to Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery otherwise known as CAPS here in Columbus and I wanted to tell you guys about my botox experience. After we walked in and got a tour we went in a room and I met with my Doctor, Tyler Angelos. He was not only professional but he was funny. I love when people make me feel comfortable before I'm getting something uncomfortable done, does that make sense? lol. He was very honest and didn't just tell me things I wanted to hear. I love that at CAPS the actual doctors are the ones injecting you.
Dr. Angelos had me hold up a mirror and show him what areas I didn't like about my face. Now let me give you a little back story. I have been getting botox since I was 28, I am 29 now and I always get it in the same three places: my "elevens", my "crows feet" and my forehead. Your "elevens" otherwise known as glabella are between your eyes and your crows feet are the lines you develop next to the outer corners of your eyes when you smile. A few people have commented I am too young to get botox but CAPS believes the younger you start the less your wrinkles will appear as you get older.
After we discussed everything I wanted, it was go time. The first time I got botox you guys...you're gonna die. I literally had an anxiety attack and starting sweating and almost passed out. I don't like needles and I felt the needle going in my head and puncturing my muscle. When I went to CAPS I was like ok Nicole, get your game face on. There is gonna be a lot of a people around and you don't wanna look like a fool. Then the gates of Heaven opened up and they whipped out this tool...
See that gold thing right there? That is called the distractor, which is exactly what it does. I put on some Post Malone and they used the distractor and it was all done in less than a minute! I felt like a freakin champ. I got 28 units total.
Botox takes anywhere from 4-7 days to show up and a maximum of two weeks.
It lasts 3 months. It can last up to 4 months for some people!
Botox normally ranges between $10-$14 a unit and like I said lasts three months. You do not have to go every three months but I can definitely tell when I don't. If you live in Ohio you should definitely check out CAPS I will be going back there. They were awesome!
