Easy, Healthy dinner with EveryPlate
September 25, 2019
One thing Justin and I always fight about- what are we going to eat for dinner. We want to eat healthy but a lot of times wait until the last minute so we end up eating bad! We have recently been introduced to EveryPlate and let me just tell you, it's amazing. Not only was it actually fun to cook together but it was so easy to make!
EveryPlate's dinner are the cheap and healthier alternative to our usual takeout. While a lot of dinner options cost around $10 a plate, EveryPlate is offering 5 recipes a week at only $4.99/serving. Not only does it come straight to your door but they literally measure out all the ingredients so you have everything right in front of you. It's super convenient.
I am so excited because EveryPlate was kind enough to provide me with a discount code for you guys! With the code HEARTISNOW30 you can get 18 meals for just $3.33 each! Think of it this way, one meal is the same price as one cup of coffee. You can either click this link and the discount will be automatically applied or manually enter it.
Thank you so much to EveryPlate for sponsoring today's post!

Hi babes! Justin and I just got home from the most AMAZING vacation. We went for a long weekend from Thursday to Sunday and stayed at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Resort. Let me just tell you, we were NOT disappointed. Our trip was so relaxing and the resort was beautiful.
When we arrived and checked in we were greeted with champagne! Once we got in our room, I saw that they had left us a note with fresh macaroons welcoming us to the resort. So nice! Notes are seriously the best. (I left one for our maids when we checked out because they were so awesome!)

Top: Aerie (only $14!)
Bottom: Asos (I'm going to get these in a different color, so stretchy and comfy!)

The first day we arrived we changed and went straight to the beach. Anytime I go to the beach the first thing I want to do is stick my feet in the sand. The sand at Clearwater is so soft and white. I loved it! We walked on the Pier and took a couple photos. Pier 60 is so close and has tons of fun stuff to do! After we went to the pool and got a couple frozen drinks. They were so good! I would recommend a strawberry or mango daiquiri.
Whenever we travel we always do room service the first night, it's like a tradition. We may seem young but we are actually old, lol. We get tired easy and like to relax in our room on the first night so we ordered burgers and fries and watched Friends.

Our second day we went and got breakfast down the road at Another Broken Egg Cafe. It was super yummy! After we headed to the pool and soaked up some rays. We ordered food at the pool and WOW. I got the chicken caesar wrap and chips. It was so fresh and good. I loved it!
We had a photoshoot that evening with Stephen from @thegloriousend. After the shoot we went to the hotel's restaurant called Ocean Hai. Out of everything we ate, the sushi from here was my favorite. If you go make sure to get the baja roll. I wish we had sushi that good in Ohio! We also got this huge fortune cookie dessert with chocolate mousse and it was amazing.

Saturday we walked down to Dunkin Donuts and got coffee and of course donuts. After we had the most KILLER massages at the Pallavi Spa located inside the hotel. They gave us champagne and had steam showers. Everything was so gorgeous inside we didn't want to leave, but the sun was calling out name!
Until...I realized I finished my book so Justin and I went to Barnes and Noble so I could get a new one. Which PS- if you like to read you should read The Couple Next Door, it's freaking crazy.
After we went to the pool and ordered chips, salsa and queso and it was delicious then we just went back to the room napped and had a late dinner.

This was totally Justin's idea and I had to throw it in. Lol I love his goofy side. Sunday was our last day in Florida so we left the resort and visited Justin's grandparents. We had such a good time on our trip and can't wait to come back! :)

Hi babes! I am so excited to share our recent trip to Secrets the Vine Cancun! Justin and I went there for a little getaway and it was AMAZING. Only 20 minutes from the airport sits this gorgeous resort right on the ocean with perfect views anywhere you look. When we walked in the resort we were greeted with bubbly tall glasses of champagne. We had lunch at this delicious restaurant there called Olio on the 12th floor and I got a chicken caesar salad, my favorite! We actually didn't leave the resort the entire time because it truly had everything we needed! Here is a rundown:
Secrets the Vine Cancun offers:
- Unlimited Luxury
- Adults only
- Free Wifi/ calls to the U.S & Canada (check up on your freezing family)
- 24 hour room service concierge services (unlimited, I should know...)
- Daily refreshed mini bar (like magic)
- 8 gourmet restaurants which are INCREDIBLE!
- Live entertainment (Did someone say karaoke?)
- 3 Pools (and chairs in the pools!)
- Amazing Spa (I got the poolside massage!)
- Less than 20 minutes from the airport
- Wine tastings offered daily (delish!)
- Piano Bar (fancy)
- Fitness Center (pump some iron with a view!)
- All rooms have private balconies (with comfy furniture)
We ate all of our meals at the resort because they were so good everywhere we went! Here are my favorites:
Secrets the Vine Restaurant Recommendations:
- Market Cafe: They offer an amazing breakfast buffet. My favorite was the yogurt granola parfait and Justin and I loved the french toast! It had brown sugar cinnamon on it...YUM.
- Olio: Located on the 12th floor this is the first place we ate. I went with a chicken caesar salad and Justin had a chicken burger and both were so good. Also you have to split some chips and guacamole too!
- Bluewater Grill: Justin and I both got the filet and we tried octopus! It was different, lol but the filet was so so good!
- Nebbiolo: Known for their Italian cuisine, they did not disappoint! The margherita pizza was so good!
Secrets the Vine Cancun is such a gorgeous resort! It offers the modern elegant suites equip with private terraces that overlook the bluest Carribbean Sea. Whether you want to check out the piano bar, enjoy dinner at one of the delicious 8 restaurants they have or just stay in your room while watching Netflix and eating room service like we did, this place will fulfill all of your travel dreams!
Our second day at Secrets, my friend Lindzy and her husband came and shoot some photos of Justin and me in the room and at the pool. The weather couldn't have been more perfect the entire time we were there. On the third day we checked out their fitness center and omgosh.....GYM GOALS. Check it out here! I hate cardio but I would do cardio everyday if I got to look out at the ocean while on the treadmill, lol. We didn't make it to the Spa but I know it has to be amazing because one of the massage therapists was going around the pool one day giving out free 5-10 minutes back massages. I got one and she said you have a lot of tension, haha I know sister! It felt so good though. We will definitely go there when we come back.
The service everywhere in the resort was impeccable. Whether you are at the pool laying out or in your room, the staff is constantly checking up on you to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Adriana (our Butler!) took amazing care of Justin and I while we were there as did the manager. Our anniversary is coming up and they surprised us multiple times with celebratory desserts, roses and heart balloons! I have never felt so special.
We have been on tons of trips and this was by far the best vacation we have ever taken. I would recommend Secrets the Vine Cancun to anyone if you're looking for a place to stay. Between the amazing staff, delicious food, beautiful views and our rainfall shower, we will definitely be back!
Thank you so much Secrets the Vine Cancun for hosting us!
