Hi babes! I am so excited to share our recent trip to Secrets the Vine Cancun! Justin and I went there for a little getaway and it was AMAZING. Only 20 minutes from the airport sits this gorgeous resort right on the ocean with perfect views anywhere you look. When we walked in the resort we were greeted with bubbly tall glasses of champagne. We had lunch at this delicious restaurant there called Olio on the 12th floor and I got a chicken caesar salad, my favorite! We actually didn't leave the resort the entire time because it truly had everything we needed! Here is a rundown:
Secrets the Vine Cancun offers:
- Unlimited Luxury
- Adults only
- Free Wifi/ calls to the U.S & Canada (check up on your freezing family)
- 24 hour room service concierge services (unlimited, I should know...)
- Daily refreshed mini bar (like magic)
- 8 gourmet restaurants which are INCREDIBLE!
- Live entertainment (Did someone say karaoke?)
- 3 Pools (and chairs in the pools!)
- Amazing Spa (I got the poolside massage!)
- Less than 20 minutes from the airport
- Wine tastings offered daily (delish!)
- Piano Bar (fancy)
- Fitness Center (pump some iron with a view!)
- All rooms have private balconies (with comfy furniture)
We ate all of our meals at the resort because they were so good everywhere we went! Here are my favorites:
Secrets the Vine Restaurant Recommendations:
- Market Cafe: They offer an amazing breakfast buffet. My favorite was the yogurt granola parfait and Justin and I loved the french toast! It had brown sugar cinnamon on it...YUM.
- Olio: Located on the 12th floor this is the first place we ate. I went with a chicken caesar salad and Justin had a chicken burger and both were so good. Also you have to split some chips and guacamole too!
- Bluewater Grill: Justin and I both got the filet and we tried octopus! It was different, lol but the filet was so so good!
- Nebbiolo: Known for their Italian cuisine, they did not disappoint! The margherita pizza was so good!
Secrets the Vine Cancun is such a gorgeous resort! It offers the modern elegant suites equip with private terraces that overlook the bluest Carribbean Sea. Whether you want to check out the piano bar, enjoy dinner at one of the delicious 8 restaurants they have or just stay in your room while watching Netflix and eating room service like we did, this place will fulfill all of your travel dreams!
Our second day at Secrets, my friend Lindzy and her husband came and shoot some photos of Justin and me in the room and at the pool. The weather couldn't have been more perfect the entire time we were there. On the third day we checked out their fitness center and omgosh.....GYM GOALS. Check it out here! I hate cardio but I would do cardio everyday if I got to look out at the ocean while on the treadmill, lol. We didn't make it to the Spa but I know it has to be amazing because one of the massage therapists was going around the pool one day giving out free 5-10 minutes back massages. I got one and she said you have a lot of tension, haha I know sister! It felt so good though. We will definitely go there when we come back.
The service everywhere in the resort was impeccable. Whether you are at the pool laying out or in your room, the staff is constantly checking up on you to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Adriana (our Butler!) took amazing care of Justin and I while we were there as did the manager. Our anniversary is coming up and they surprised us multiple times with celebratory desserts, roses and heart balloons! I have never felt so special.
We have been on tons of trips and this was by far the best vacation we have ever taken. I would recommend Secrets the Vine Cancun to anyone if you're looking for a place to stay. Between the amazing staff, delicious food, beautiful views and our rainfall shower, we will definitely be back!
Thank you so much Secrets the Vine Cancun for hosting us!
