Bestie Staycation

A few days ago my blogger bestie Jess and I had a staycation at the CUTEST HOTEL in the Short North in Columbus called Le Meridien The Joseph. Jess is originally from Ohio but moved to Arizona and when she told me she was coming to visit I knew we had to stay here! I adore Jess, we are literally so similar so she was totally game to have a bestie staycation at this super chic, sophisticated hotel. 

We shoot with the same photographer, Kate (I'm sure you've seen her on my stories!) so as soon as we got to the hotel and relaxed we started shooting. Well no that's a lie, we popped some champagne first haha! They were so sweet to leave a bottle in our room as a welcoming gift! :) Our room was huge and so spacious and we had an amazing view of downtown Columbus.

The Short North has so much character and there's so much to do so Le Meridien The Joseph is the perfect place to stay while you're visiting. After we both shot a few looks we headed down to Soul, the hotel bar. We ordered truffle fries and cheese curds and O M G you guys. They were delicious! Our drinks were super good too! 

We headed across the street to Forno for some more cocktails and yummy pizza! When we went back to the room we threw on our sweats and I talked Jess into dessert. I never used to be a "sweets" person until I met my husband. He literally has to eat dessert after almost every meal. We ordered room service and got delicious carrot cake! We also dug into the dark chocolate almonds they had in the room, you should try these for sure. 

The next morning Jess and I had massages at the spa located in The Joseph. It was incredible. You get the room all to yourself and you get to choose what scent of oil for the massage. They even put hot towels on your feet! After the massage I relaxed in a heated chair and did some stories to show you guys how amazing the view was! 

After our massages we packed up and checked out even though we didn't want to leave! If you are looking for a place to stay in the Short North/downtown area while you are in Columbus be sure to check out Le Meridien The Joseph. This was my second time staying here and I will definitely be back!
