10 Ways to Save Money in 2019

Coat: Chicwish c/o
Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch (on sale!)
Bag: Henri Bendel, similar here

Happy New Years Eve beauties! I first off wanted to share this coat with you I just recently got from Chicwish. I love how long it is and it's so warm! Perfect for the 30 degree weather we are supposed to get this week. Chicwish has a sale going on right now and you can get up to $20 off! I linked all of my current favs below.

Now I know everyone has tons of New Years resolutions. One of the most popular one is based around money. I have saved the most I have ever saved this year so I thought I would share some tips (none of these being sponsored).

10 WAYS TO SAVE MONEY IN 2019

1. I don't know about you but I'm addicted to coffee. In the beginning of 2018 I was going to Starbucks once a day, sometimes twice if I had a meeting or met a friend. Since I found a couple of K Cups I love (green mountain blueberry and the Kirklands brand light roast from Costco) I make my own and I only go to Starbucks once a week, maybe.
2. Get rid of cable. We recently did and are now saving $80 a month AND we still have Netflix, Hulu and Apple TV.
3. My friend Lindsay told me about a money tracking app she uses. It's called Self Employed. I link my card and it shows me how much I'm spending and also makes doing taxes a 1,000 times easier at the end of the year.
4. I downloaded Ibotta, a cash back rewards app. I take a picture of my grocery receipts and earn money back every time I shop.
5. Get rid of memberships you don't use. I totally forgot I still had a tanning membership because it was coming out of a card I don't really use. I just cancelled and could kick myself for not cancelling sooner. I only spray tan now (shoutout to Abbey at Studio 13 Spray Tanning)!
6. Shop SALES only! 9/10 that coat or shoes you're dying to have is going to go on sale, trust me. I really want this leopard hoodie from Abercrombie but you will never catch me paying full price for anything, except a smoothie bowl.
7. Speaking of food.....eat out less. I know this sucks. Especially when you don't have time to cook or picking up food is just more convienent for your schedule but this will change your bank account.
8. Sell your clothes/beauty items on Poshmark! Cleaning out your closet is a great way to destress and if you're not going to wear something again, sell it!
9. Cut credit cards. I know it's hard but only use what you have in your account.
10. Buy in bulk. We have saved a lot from getting a Costco membership and cooking more!

I hope these helped. I know I want to make 2019 my best year yet! Whether you are spending NYE in sweats on the couch or in a sequins dress out with friends, be safe and thank you so much for reading! xoxoxo
