15 Destress Tips + Tricks

Before we get into my tips, I want to share with you babes this gorgeous velvet dress. I'll be completely honest when I got it out of the package I wasn't sure it was going to work. It felt amazing, I just wasn't sure I could pull it off or how to wear it. But I LOVE it! I love the asymmetrical vibe to it and how it is classy and sexy. ♡ 15 Ways to Destress ♡

1- Meditate/Pray. Justin swears by the Headspace app. 

2- Eat healthy foods. Some foods that are known to reduce stress are: blueberries, avocado, nuts, seeds and oranges! I'm obsessed with blueberry anything! 

3- Journal. I used to journal every single day and have fallen off the wagon but I am going to start again! 

4- Take a walk. 

5- Give. Do something for someone else. 

6- Puppy love. My dogs always calm me down and make me feel better. If you don't have one, go to a local shelter and ask to play with one! 

7- Plan a trip. Even just a quick weekend getaway in the next city. 

8- Go for a scenic drive. Justin and I love doing this. 

9- Laugh. Think about a moment you were streaming in tears from laughter. 

10- Light a candle. I'm so obsessed with my Bath and Body Works candles, I have a special cabinet for them. 

11- Unplug and recharge. Take a technology break and turn off your phone, laptop, etc. 

12- Take a nap.

13- Get organized. Is there anything worse than losing something? This stresses me to the MAX. My mom has been helping me slowly but surely organize our house and I could not be more grateful. Home Goods and TJ Maxx are great places to find cute bins to organize. 

14- Exercise. Find something you truly love doing.

15- Listen to your favorite song. I know this sounds cliche but when I hear my song, it's on. I'm obsessed with 7 rings right now from Ariana Grande and also any throwback like Mariah Carey.
